In August 2019, David embarked on a trip to Paris to capture a music video for Northern Song.

While in Paris, David also performed at the Berkeley Books of Paris, where he was accompanied on stage by French cellist Cécile Lacharme.

Performing an array of original songs and covers, David shared a snippet of his performance on social media in anticipation of the release of his debut EP, The Adventure Begins.

Hitting all streaming platforms in September 2019, David’s debut EP featured a coaxing fingerpicking guitar style, with sparing use of violin and cello – all under the guidance of David’s sometimes gentle, and other times soaring, vocal.

As we now know, Covid was lurking around the corner and put a dent in David’s momentum. Admirably, he has remained optimistic – continually releasing high-quality performances on social media, thus keeping fans enticed.

Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long before seeing David perform live in the venues of Cork and beyond.
