James (lead singer) and Nino (lead guitar) can be traced back to their school days in Bantry. However, it wasn’t until years later when the duo came accross each other in the city that they realised a shared adulation for certain rockabilly, folk and rock and roll musicians.

Originally the duo focused on covers, before eventually putting pen to paper themselves. In the case of Summer Fruit, the song was built when the main riff was fed through a loop pedal and the duo elaborated and collaborated.

Fedora utilized their opportunity on Troubadour more than anyone before them. After their performance, Fedora took the files from us. Lead guitarist Nino added bass, and counted on Troubadour alumni Jack Seymour to provide cajon in their own time. Before eventually returning the files to chief sound engineer Pierce Dorney to mix and master.

Follow Fedora from the beginning as they provide a popular sound that holds its own unique place on Troubadour.
