Effortlessly blending earthy folk influences and anthemic heartland rock are Irish rock band Jordan Run — an exciting collective fronted by Aaron O’Sullivan.

Performing on Troubadour allowed Aaron to direct 2019 singles The Fear and Olivia into a stripped format, showcasing the songs at their very essence.

You could centre any songwriting class around a melodic masterclass such as Olivia.

However, I prefer listening to The Fear. It is such a clear, organic example of Aaron having fun playing the guitar — allowing a craftsman's playing to take centre stage and everything else to slot into a rightful support role.

Jordan Run are actively releasing music even in the midst of a lockdown. Find them on social media and all streaming platforms. A very bright future ahead.
